Refund Policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
We want you to be happy with Red News Premium. This policy explains how trials, cancellations, and refunds work. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, so refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.
Try before you pay
Every new user can start a 14-day Premium trial with no payment method required. The trial is long enough to span a major economic release, so you can fully evaluate Premium before you are ever charged. We encourage you to use it.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you subscribe and change your mind, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment, no questions asked. This applies to the initial charge on a monthly or annual plan.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date using the Manage subscription button in the extension. After cancellation you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, but if you were charged for a renewal you did not intend to keep and reach out promptly, contact us. We review these case by case and aim to be fair.
How to request a refund
- Reply to the Paddle receipt email you received for the purchase, or
- email support@rednews.app with the email address used at checkout, or
- reach us on Discord.
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle back to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, or under Paddle's own buyer terms as merchant of record.
