Questions, answered

Where does the economic data come from?

From the public Forex Factory economic calendar, fetched through our own backend and delivered to the extension. Red News is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Forex Factory or TradingView.

Do I need an account?

No. The free tier works without any sign-in. You only sign in (with Google) if you start a Premium trial or subscribe, so we can link your subscription to your installation.

How does the free trial work?

Premium is free for 14 days and does not ask for a card. The trial is long enough to span a major release like NFP, FOMC or CPI, so you can judge the value before paying anything.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from the extension's Manage subscription button at any time. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for. See our Refund Policy for details.

Do the news lines save or sync across devices?

No. They're a live overlay the extension redraws fresh each session, so they stay out of your saved TradingView layout. That keeps old or duplicate lines from piling up. They show wherever the Chrome extension runs, which means desktop Chrome, not mobile.

Is this financial advice?

No. Red News is an information tool that displays scheduled economic events. It does not provide trading signals or financial advice, and nothing it shows should be taken as a recommendation to trade.

Is my data safe?

We don't track your browsing or sell your data. Payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record, so your card details never reach us. See our Privacy Policy.

A personal note

Why these languages?

There's a personal reason behind this list. I love discovering new places — different cultures, local food, beautiful landscapes, and, most of all, the people. One of my biggest dreams is to visit every country and region behind these languages: to walk their streets, feel everyday life, hear the language spoken around me, make new friends, and see the world through someone else's eyes.

So when I started translating Red News, I didn't pick languages just because they're popular. I wanted to build something that could connect me with the people and places I genuinely want to discover.

Every language here is a place I'd love to visit, a culture I'd love to understand, and people I'd love to meet. 🌍❤️

Maybe one day I'll look back at this list and say: I've been there.
